• Visa (V):​
  Beat earnings estimates, but shares fell ~2%—annual revenue guidance unchanged, so traders took profits anyway.

• Tech Titans on Deck:​
  Microsoft and Meta report after market close — all eyes on whether they can reenergize the index from recent profit‑taking headwinds. Amazon and Apple follow on.
• Trade & Tariffs Watch:​
  U.S.–China truce talks wrapped up with both sides discussing extension—but nothing concrete yet. Friday’s tariff deadline still stands unless Trump approves an extension. EU and South Korea also negotiating trade terms. India is getting hit with 25% pre market!
• Fed Focus:​
  Markets expect the Fed to hold rates at ~4.3%, but the spotlight is on Powell’s tone and any clues on rate cuts later this year—especially amid internal dissent from Trump-appointed governors Waller and Bowman
• Economic Data Incoming:​
  Today’s highlight—Q2 GDP plus private‑sector payroll data. Jobs report Friday could influence whatever Powell says today.
• Crude Oil & Dollar Moves:​
  Oil prices ticked down slightly; U.S. dollar eased against major currencies. That ripples through commodities and inflation expectations
