WTF Premarket Report — Tuesday, July 15, 2025 🔥
The money doesn’t sleep and neither does the edge. Let’s dissect this battlefield, one trade at a time.
What’s Moving the Market This Morning?
NVIDIA is back in beast mode. Shares are jumping premarket after reports confirm they’ve found a workaround to sell AI chips into China despite export restrictions. Translation? They’re skating around the red tape, and Wall Street loves it.
CPI came in as expected—no fireworks—but year-over-year inflation is still climbing, and that sticky creep matters more than the month-over-month calm. The Fed might not blink yet, but the slow burn adds fuel to the “no rate cut” narrative for now.
Bank earnings? Flat to soft. JPM, BAC, and others are showing signs of consumer and credit stress. Loan loss reserves are rising, and margin pressure is real. Financials may retrace or dead cat bounce—but this is not leadership. It’s a weight.
